In this particular instance the prevailing public perception of our enemies is that this is a manifestation of Right Wing White Power. This is white supremacy, this is the patriarchy, this is Hitler. It doesn't matter if they're wrong, in this instance it's a good thing that they believe this because otherwise what threat do we pose? What fear are you inducing?

Secondly, This isn't getting oil from Venezuela for Paul Singer, this is getting non-whites out of the country and normalizing violence to accomplish this if necessary. Your personal suspicions about the true motives of the regime carrying out these deportations are irrelevant as are your fears about how future administrations might also use force in response (how did you think this movie ended exactly?).

As far as the ridicule itself, publicly demeaning the enemy dead demonstrates a willingness to escalate. This is an important signal to send when, I dunno, you're being genocided and you want it to stop.
