Went to another office (not my work) christmas party. Not a bad turnout and a lot of fun at a rural mountain winery. Good food and people. A bunch of flannel wearing huwhite folk all joking and laughing enjoying eachothers company with an open bar. Not too rowdy, and at the end, food was divided up for people to take home and everything cleaned by attendees. Had a good conversation with an old surgeon on the state of Healthcare and how most doctors (80% work for practices or hospitals) are "basically employees instead of the cowboy days of being free agents are over". He even elucidated he tries to train young guys to be good doctors and surgeons instead of a corporate pill machine. He said he was 64 and retiring next year out of country...maybe due to taxes. A humble white surgeon of rural background. A glimpse of holiday spirit even in the mundane. Merry Christmas.

Another idea for you food bank and Gov gibs chads that have livestock is to use lentils to make microgreens during the winter for your flock. Wife's been taking 5 lbs of gibs lentils and growing micro greens for our chickens and ducks nutrition since winter is a time of scarcity. It helps the chickens and ducks lay eggs even in the cold seasons.
