Beef prices have exploded here in the U.S. 10 lb of Ground beef used to cost me 23 bucks around 2021. Now it's 45 bucks before taxes. About a 50 percent increase. Luckily I just stole it.

I buy local beef from a farmer around here and it's always been $9/lb for a quarter cow. 60% is ground beef. The bonus is those t-bone steaks and other premium cuts that go for $28/lb at the local store

He's a good man with a large family. Home delivery is included and we get as much beef fat (for soap) and soup bones as we want for free

Search for a local organic farmer and you'll likely find the same. I guarantee you it's better meat than from the store and it supports the community
