OK, RACCOONS! I've finally made the effort to post. So what have I been up to? Slanging and banging. So for 20 hours of work, I've made $27 an hour playing in the yard with my kids. Using them as emotional weapons. I've made $550 for 20 hours of work, just doing yard sales from dumpster dove items. I've made $600 off FB marketplace sales as well from posts. I'm not counting that towards work or the scrap metal and food bank hauls. Part one on FB marketplace and yard sales to follow. That's an extra $1100 a month. Along with whatever I've been doing with my credit cards and tax bills, coming next post.

The one thing I love about yard sales is abusing boomers. High pricing shit just for them and making them walk away. Old people are not your target demographic if you want to make money.

I still stand by optimism. But a fully different sort. A riding of a tiger you might say. Society and general people suck and have always sucked. War, famine, disease, people trying to rob and trick and genocide you are nothing new (though the details change).
Be optimistic because despite all this your ancestors loved and succeeded, or thrived, or merely survived. Be optimistic because this fallen world belongs, rightfully, to you. Cherish every small victory over evil, work hard and fight and you can gather those precious elements which, amazingly, miraculously, do not suck.

Another great thing about networking and talking to some folks around town is getting stuff people are trying to get rid of and getting gifts. When helping move someones passed away, grandmother, we got an old rocking chair that me and the wife are gonna refinish. My wife's sister is renting from my wife's friends landlord. And well as a gift for bringing good tenets he gave me 3 bottles of homemade muscadine wine. Sitting at about 14% to 18% percent Alc/bv. Always ask around, and don't be afraid to talk to folks in your town.
