Neighbor had some long drill bits so i can try and finish my pistol barrel but theyre smaller than what i bored up to on the first side. Now the question is do try and start a blind hole on that same side half way in the barrel and hope im centered or free hand drill it from the other side til im through.

if i start this way i can use the poop lathe but ill still be free handing the tailstock. if i go the other way im stuck with a drill. but once im through i got a long 1/2 in bit and i think running that all the way through will kinda average out any difference.

been workin on a trashy muzzle loading pistol barrel for a couple weeks but and hit a road block. but now im all the way through which should be the hardest part of the build. especially cause this is tool steel. real pain in the ass but at least whenever im done regardless of any mistakes i make it wont hand grenade

Just called in to work today for the second day in a row. I drove to work. I realized my GPS was set wrong so I was going to be late.
