"In 1992, photographer Scott Gardner stumbled upon one of nature’s strangest anomalies a toad with eyes inside its mouth. Discovered in a backyard in Burlington County, Ontario, this rare macromutation placed the toad’s eyes just below the roof of its mouth, forcing it to live with its mouth constantly open. Despite the bizarre condition, the toad led a surprisingly normal life. Nature never ceases to amaze!
