It's like this (I feel): the individual is a microcosm while God is the macrocosm. If you look at it through the lense of the torus, we have our smaller torus field but we exist in a greater torus field, and there are many layers of tori above and below us (like dimensions/frequencies). "God" is the highest torus field that encompasses the universe and by aligning your mini torus field with the greater, you essentially become "one with God," thereby taking on the awareness/consciousness of God through free will choice. God "created us in his image." This is what it means. We are a microcosm of the macrocosm, but between these cosms, we can have distortions/imbalances which can make us seem or appear separate. The more we align ourselves with the greater will of God, the more we appear and in fact become like God. The "gods" with a lower case g (see the book of enoch, the Sumerian Tablets, the Annunaki, etc) fell because they "turned away from God, meaning their individual will was no longer aligned with the God's Will, or the Collective Will. You may not believe these beings exist, and really that's irrelevant, because everything is energy as both of you say, and this energy is real. To become a "god" is actually to not have ego at all, contrary to what people think when they hear the term. There are certainly false gods and goddesses and usually they are the ones labeling themselves that (labels = separation/ego). Yet, energetically, I hope you feel what I mean.
This is how I see it. This meme is funny to me because it feels like the more I heal/realize/align, the more I feel like I'm talking to myself when I pray, because separation dissolves, and it's like, really I chose this whole experience, even the ignorance and suffering. I incarnated for this very challenge. But, I wouldn't rule out prayer all together, because "ask and you shall receive." Prayer becomes more like a setting of intentions, of focus, of alignment. If you look at the prayer hands 🙏, it is all about ALIGNING yourself with the greater cosmos. You can feel it when you put your hands together like this. So you are aligning in order to receive. It's not really about anything being outside yourself. It's just an allowing yourself to receive what is greater than "you."
