The rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do. The choice is yours.
Looks like I am officially moving out of California! Still to the coast, no longer the left one.

I can't tell you how much I love @MorgothsReview idea of a collective fiction project to facilitate pulp story telling inside a shared universe. I know people talked about this in the old Canis Society server. I wonder how you would start something like this? The setting would have to flexible enough to allow for role-playing games, and extended short stories, flavorful enough to give writers and game masters something to chew one. I would love to hear people's thoughts.
The death of the secular enlightenment project made manifest. You can’t have dialectic or material truth without trust, you can’t have trust without reciprocal loyalty, you can’t have reciprocal loyalty without morality, you can’t have morality without shared spiritual truth. Therefore secular truth regimes collapse outside of an animating spiritual concordance. Sorry folks, we need to think in a different direction.

Met up with a young lad I used to work with today and ended up laying out my hot-takes on Covid and Great Reset etc.
Apparently though the conspiracy moving through North Eastern yoof is that the vaccine will protect conformist people from the real virus which is yet to be released, but when it is it'll wipe out all the people who don't trust the Globohomo elites.
And so once again I was met with the issue of ''Post-Truth''.
If we accept the mainstream is bullshit run by elites who hate us, how then can any coherent counter narrative or position emerge when everybody has their own ''truth'' and nobody has the ability to debunk anything anyone else says?

Note: The live-stream tonight has been downgraded to just a random stream. I don’t have a talk prepared, we are just answering audience questions.

I wonder if he would have had the same reaction to me geeking-out over his portrayal of Charles I in "Cromwell".

edit found the whole thing, but reminds me of this. For context,
"A refurbished Star Wars is on somewhere or everywhere. I have no intention of revisiting any galaxy. I shrivel inside each time it is mentioned. Twenty years ago, when the film was first shown, it had a freshness, also a sense of moral good and fun. Then I began to be uneasy at the influence it might be having. The bad penny first dropped in San Francisco when a sweet-faced boy of twelve told me proudly he had seen Star Wars over a hundred times.
