For the boomers who think that we are on the path back to normalcy, I have story. Today I was in the park with my 1-year old. The playground was almost empty except for a pair of half-Asian children (around 4-years old) playing in full masks in the sandbox. My son approached the pair, smiling, babbling sounds like "HI", arms outstretched in friendship (he was unmasked but I was wearing one out of politeness). The two children (mind you much older and much bigger than my son) regarded him with a look of absolute and sincere terror, backing away from the toddler like he was a rabid dog. Soon their European-American mother came and hustled them quickly out of the play area like we were a pair of lepers. This is in a community that is almost entirely vaccinated. The hell we are returning to normalcy.
After thinking about this for a week, I am now officially removing ALL SuperChats and monetization from my YouTube channel, I probably don't need to explain this, you know the reasons.
Generally my philosophy towards social media hinges on money. When it comes to pure platforms, I try to make peace with the reality of Corporate control. That's just the game. However, once I accept money, and the Corp tries to dick me around with how it pays out then I immediately go into PURGE mode. I will obey rules of a space, but I am not a dancing monkey for tips. No patreon. No superchats.
Oh, and I am not trying to cast aspersions on people who need superchats to live. I get this, I really do. My family and I had a bit of a gap recently, and superchats REALLY helped us make ends meet. But, TBH, this gap is over and I no longer need the money for anything that could possibly be called "essential". Please give your money to other right-wing content creators that need the cash more. I will accept tips on entropy, as a "Tip Jar" type contribution, but right now, how I see it, I AM PURCHASING a certain type of aesthetic by not doing superchats the same way BreadTube does.
BreadTube did to SuperChats what "my-600 pound life" did to eating unhealthy food. The excess highlights the core disgust and existential horror of the act. Maybe this is a good thing?
Looks like I am officially moving out of California! Still to the coast, no longer the left one.
Any thoughts on today’s stream?
I can't tell you how much I love @MorgothsReview idea of a collective fiction project to facilitate pulp story telling inside a shared universe. I know people talked about this in the old Canis Society server. I wonder how you would start something like this? The setting would have to flexible enough to allow for role-playing games, and extended short stories, flavorful enough to give writers and game masters something to chew one. I would love to hear people's thoughts.
Witness the decline of Matt McManus into absolute hackery.
Can any one recommend Keato guides?
The death of the secular enlightenment project made manifest. You can’t have dialectic or material truth without trust, you can’t have trust without reciprocal loyalty, you can’t have reciprocal loyalty without morality, you can’t have morality without shared spiritual truth. Therefore secular truth regimes collapse outside of an animating spiritual concordance. Sorry folks, we need to think in a different direction.

Met up with a young lad I used to work with today and ended up laying out my hot-takes on Covid and Great Reset etc.

Apparently though the conspiracy moving through North Eastern yoof is that the vaccine will protect conformist people from the real virus which is yet to be released, but when it is it'll wipe out all the people who don't trust the Globohomo elites.

And so once again I was met with the issue of ''Post-Truth''.

If we accept the mainstream is bullshit run by elites who hate us, how then can any coherent counter narrative or position emerge when everybody has their own ''truth'' and nobody has the ability to debunk anything anyone else says?
A late BD present from my wife, a print from my favorite Fantasy artist Seb McKennon, “Cuombajj Witches”, which I call “Kombucha Witches” since the art reflects the conflicted nature of the beverage itself. Is it a soft drink? Is it a tea? Who can say?
Note: The live-stream tonight has been downgraded to just a random stream. I don’t have a talk prepared, we are just answering audience questions.
