4x - 2y = 10
- 2y = 10 - 4x
2y = 4x - 10
y = 2x - 5
the x has to be squared in order to become a parabola so it would be 4x^2-2y=10

/ means divisions.
because you have -2y=10, you have to add 2y to get rid of it & add it to the 10 to make 10y
