We are seeking two volunteers to assist with the logistics of our upcoming conference titled "ORGANISED CRIME: A Global Business." The conference will take place at Kunstquartier Bethanien (Studio 1) on 24 and 25 November 2023.
The engagement time frames are as follows:

Birgit Schneider and Yvonne Volkart will address these questions when presenting their new books, moderated by Cornelia Sollfrank. They will address how the social and ecological consequences of global warming are technically sensed, bodily felt and experienced and to what extent different ways of perceiving have a political impact and new entry points of care and action.

The impact of artificial intelligence will radically change how we produce and consume media content. Its consequences will be even more significant for the activities of media and cultural organizations working in or with the Global South.
Tatiana Bazzichelli moderates Hadi al-Khatib (Mnemonic/Syrian Archive), Dr Milagros Miceli (Weizenbaum Institut), Nadine Moawad (feminist activist) and Moawad (Nasawiya).
The event will invite experts who will try, if not to give answers, to clarify what we could expect from the future, focussing on topics such as the impact of AI on journalism in authoritarian systems, the status of evidence images, feminist movements in the MENA region, as well as the labor conditions behind it.
