This past weekend I had the honor - and the pleasure - to take part in a bottoming event hosted by Yugen Studio in Milan. It was a truly special and important gathering ā there is such a deep need for exchange, connection, and sharing between rope bottoms, and this event made that beautifully tangible.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped create such an inspiring and safe atmosphere. Iām grateful I could present my thoughts on safety in rope bondage and feel so deeply listened to.
A heartfelt thank-you to my amazing co-presenters ā Anna, Sarah, Claudio, and Debora ā who gave me the chance to be a student again; to Yugen Studio for hosting us; and to Marta for her wonderful hospitality! ā¤ļø

When we aim to tie "in the moment" or "with the flow", tuned in the situation, our intention, the model's expression and invitation instead executing a fixed pattern/shape/figure/progression/routine, the questions comes up: What next?
I think it is very (very!) difficult to find the right answer, to come to a good decision. Often we fail. Sometimes we "read" our partner "wrong". Sometimes what we create doesn't satisfy our own demands on aesthetic. Sometimes our actions prove in-effective, evoke nothing... Sometimes we create beauty ā¤ļø
I think the path is practice. That's the only thing we can do...
