Pangolin
- scaly mammal on the planet.
- Of the eight species of pangolin worldwide, two are found in India. They are Chinese pangolin, mostly found in northeast India and Indian pangolin.
Protection Status
- Indian pangolin has been listed as “endangered”.
- It is also a Schedule I category protected animal, under the Wildlife Protection Act (1972).

Business confidence index

- It tracks the business sentiments of around 600 Indian companies to compute the composite index.
- It stood at 46.4 in the first quarter of 2020-21, a drop of 40.1 per cent from its level of 77.4 in the previous quarter.
- It fell 62 per cent in the June 2020 quarter on a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis,

- First Lok Adalat in 1982(Gujarat)
- accepts the cases pending in the regular courts within their jurisdiction
- presided over by a sitting or retired judicial officer
- Members - a lawyer and a social worker.
Main condition - both parties in dispute should agree for settlement.
- No court fee.
- The procedural laws are not strictly followed
- The decision is binding on the parties and its order is capable of execution through legal process.
- No appeal lies against the order of the Lok Adalat.
