So Tapper stayed silent when it counted. Not because the truth was unclear—but because the consequences were.

“Somebody in the White House would have called up and said, ‘Tapper, no one from CNN is going to get a seat at a press conference. There's not going to be any CNN interview.’ So he backed down.”

Now, as Biden’s influence fades, Tapper has shifted gears—pointing fingers at the White House while sidestepping his own role in enabling the very narrative he now critiques.

“In a very cowardly fashion, now he comes out and he is blaming the White House cover-up,” Hanson said.

But it wasn’t just the White House. According to Hanson, the entire media establishment participated.
