RT @Bthemoon2030: The Blockchain Group ($ALTBG) announced a €8.6M capital increase at €1.279/share. With the current price this may seem like a big discount (~46% to May 19's closing price).

But @Alexandrelaizet explained this before in a post on 10 may (regarding the last private placement of 9.9m).

@_ALTBG cannot opparate a Strategy like ATM where shares are directly sold by the broker. It has to do a ATM-like private placement where the price is set with investors in market conditions before closing.

Then it takes like a week or so (viewing the timeline of the last two private placements) to get everyting in order and ready for convert.

The price can skyrocket OR fall hard. In both cases the price is set. In this case investors got (very lucky) because price increased hard.

So @_ALTBG did not sell at a discount, its just time that passed before closing and announchment due to european law.

Ps. even ad a "discount" this would still be super acretive for shareholders since the mNAV was about 5 at the time. (This private placement alone would be a 11% BTC yield if this was the only one coming in).
