I live in this groove most of the time, but from time to time due to any number of reasons I get bumped out. It is a bad feeling until I groove back in
Being in the groove has NOTHING to do with whether a trade or series of trades wins or loses. Being in the grove is all about controlling the things you can control and having it become routine, memorized, repetitive

Do you want to learn what it means to be a trader? No person can absorb all the inputs the market, computers, social media et all can load on us each day. It is overwhelming.
Over the years I have through trial and error, frustration and joy, time and again, trading day after trading day, year after year whittled down the really essential data and information points my brain needs to process. I can talk around these, but I have no plan to reveal them. They were too hard sought and found.
The challenge, then is to shut out all the other noise and focus only on the things you essentially need to make decisions in a comprehensive market speculation endeavor.
I have my list. Some of the elements came pretty early and pretty easy. But the gems were buried deep in the mine.
Lots of people/news/fundamentals/social media posts et all are only there to confuse.
As a trader I have come to condense the things I will trust -- really trust. Trust what is trustworthy. Mistrust anything that seems to confuse, to hide, to disguise, to create false hope
