Yesterday, someone whose economic theories failed said that India is heading towards 1950 to 1980 economic growth. While India saw immense economic growth in the last 10 years, in which India became the world's 5th largest economy and India is all set to become the world's 4th largest economy by the end of 2023 or early 2024. Yet, an economist who walks with future PM of India and Youth Icon is giving his predictions. All his predictions failed in the past.

Few decisions taken by RBI.

- Forced Indians to stay away from Crypto currencies.
Result: More than 3 Trillion dollars of crypto money was washed and wasted globally. But Indians are happy and safe because RBI forced us not to invest in Crypto.

- Jan Dhan Accounts
Result: More than 1.5 trillion Rupees saved in Jan Dhan Accounts and with less than 3% default on loans.

- Demonetisation
Result: We all know and I explain the advantages in one of my previous post.

- Right decisions taken at the right time in Indian Banking.
Result: YES Bank's board was diluted overnight and a new board was put in place. There was extreme uncertainty for almost 1 year among the YES bank customers. But today YES Bank has revived it's entire business and even recovered it's bad loans.

These are just few decisions taken by RBI in the past few years. I am not even discussing the steps taken during COVID period or UPI or Rupay.

While we have all the rights to criticise RBI, we can not ignore the fact that RBI has worked in favor of the Indian consumers.

Looks like United States of America needs RBI to make sure 2008 doesn't happen again. It's high time that the West should get some wisdom from India.
