I absolutely despise being surrounded by normies because nihilistic normgroids don't care about anything and don't care about what happens to them. It's like their entire purpose is to bring people down to their level. Any time you dare to show that you care about something, you spawn a normgroid who instead of just minding their own business approaches you and goes like this: "erm buddy why do you care. Why do you even care. WHO CARES lol. 🙄 Nobody gives a shit. Shut up."

The implication in their response being that you have to be content with the current state of the world, accept everything as is, bend down and get raped along with the rest. Why are you trying to stand out and call out the rapening? Who allowed you? Why are you trying to unrape yourself, buddy, we are calling the Rape Police. We are writing a denunciation on you. Authorities are smarter than you and know better than you.

If you dare to say "maybe our world could be better if we tried", normgroids just kill you.

So when you criticize software because you care, let's say you criticize Windows, you always spawn a zombie horde of normgroids, like a clockwork, who always start defending their mega-corporation: "dude just tweak the registry it's not that hard. Dude just debloat it. Just disable this. Disable that. Just put that file here."

At first it seems like an innocent response because they seem to be right, tweaking one value in registry is indeed very easy. The other fix is also easy. They are not wrong, you know. But then you have to fix more and more, and you think to yourself "hmm something isn't right."
10 years later people are SUPPOSED, or rather REQUIRED to run huge debloat scripts that do god knows what just to make their system BARELY USABLE. Normgroids then go "wew lad, how did that happen to me? Absolutely suddenly, overnight, my OS turned into complete and utter shit, absolutely out of the blue, for no reason at all."

This is how they always react, because every normgroid has a memory span of a golden fish and is unable to keep track of the events and make future predictions. They only see what sits in front of their nose. They seem to be physically unable to comprehend that if you have 2 today, and 2 tomorrow, you get 4, not 2.

If that seems like a satire to you, just check how normies treated Windows 11. It took for large media outlets to start criticizing Windows 11 for them to start noticing that their OS is fucking unusable, and they started complaining like that change happened overnight - but it didn't, it was simply progressively getting worse since 2015.

The same happened e.g with Firefox. At first you had to disable one option. Then it was two options. Today you are required to run Firefox with a user.js config that has to be updated EVERY VERSION because Mozilla deliberately removes, renames and shuffles options to keep the bloat, ads, pop-ups and other annoying crap come up at you. When you complain about Firefox, normgroids spawn and yell "JUST DISABLE THAT" at you completely ignoring the maintenance toil that is ahead of you. Actual people however notice that the situation is not good, so they resort to using Firefox forks that shift that maintenance toil to somebody else who maintains the fork.

The accumulation of these "simple" "tweaks", "fixes" and "patches" always results in one of two options:
- the user must waste increasingly more and more of their own free time to keep their software usable, or
- gradually increasing maintenance toil results in people creating various "debloat" scripts and forks that hide and abstract away these changes, so users running them don't really know what their software does under the hood, because they don't want to know and don't want to care - rightfully so, because they SHOULDN'T. But it makes it easier for malicious actors to embed their own crap inside. (see "Thorium furry porn art embedded in your browser" incident)

But normgroids are unable to see the accumulation and the increasingly more soul-devastating maintenance toil that is required to keep your system running.

So when you complain about something and get approached by people who tell you to "just disable this" and "tweak that" and tell you to "stop crying and caring", they can only be told to go fuck themselves. This is the only response they deserve with no further elaboration. They are the reason the world is in shit.
