But they actually have to deliver something because they can't operate on thin air.

So they need your immediate, physical RAM, because they can't use DRAM that doesn't exist, which they bought up with money that doesn't exist. So they are going to use money that doesn't exist (a $200/mo sub with actual prime cost at about $20/mo, since their tokens are heavily overpriced) to pay out for your actual RAM that you bought with your own real money; just so you could rent your own RAM back later at a much higher price.
