Given the circumstances, the whole security theater about Wayland devs being afraid of applications "stealing" their keystrokes is really funny, because they made me use a system that uses a dying rat as the mailman and pretend we're all good and secure. Meanwhile I can just unlock the keyring and read every auth data and every secret that goes through every application in dbus.

... and apparently even tray icons don't work without the dbus cancer, unless you use KDE, which is arguably the only good DE.
