New York | At a UNGA session, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, "The international community has not forgotten the brutal, targeted attacks carried out by Pakistan-trained terrorists that claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025. In a considered and balanced response, India exercised its legitimate right to defend its people against terrorism and bring its organisers and perpetrators to justice, carrying out surgical strikes on nine terrorist hideouts under Operation Sindoor in May 2025. In contrast, Pakistan deliberately targeted our border villages, resulting in the deaths of numerous civilians, including children. Pakistan must look at itself in the mirror, stop preaching on this platform, and act to protect children within its borders."

IAF Strikes Pakistan’s Airbases, Marks Long-Range Kill
Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, Director General Military Operations: "So the drones came in in large numbers even after the two DGMOs had spoken... This led us to swing the Indian Air Force into action, and in the precision strikes that they carried out on the night of the 9th and 10th of May, we hit 11 of their air bases... Eight air bases, three hangars, and four radars were damaged. Pakistani air assets were destroyed on the ground... One C-130 class of aircraft and one AEW, four to five fighter jets, and there were assets that were also destroyed in the air... We now know that the world's longest ever ground-to-air kill was at 300 kilometres plus and five high-tech fighters. I think the impunity with which these attacks were carried out is what is significant."
