German intelligence chief Martin Jaeger told lawmakers on October 13 that Russia is prepared to test European borders and could escalate current tensions into an open confrontation at any moment.

“We cannot simply wait and assume a potential Russian attack won’t happen before 2029,” Jaeger warned. “We are already under fire today.”

France is keen on acquiring Indian long-range rockets, loitering munitions, and counter-drone systems following their performance in Operation Sindoor. The French Army chief expressed interest in co-developing capabilities in artificial intelligence and electronic warfare, highlighting the potential for enhanced joint training.

Their proposals will first be evaluated by a committee of senior DRDO officials, with the findings forwarded to a panel headed by the Defence Secretary for further review. The evaluation process is expected to conclude within a month, after which the government will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to the shortlisted firms. One firm will then be selected to build five AMCA prototypes and one structural test specimen.

If China were to move against Taiwan, it's likely China would force its junior partner, Russia under Vladimir Putin, to move against NATO to keep us busy.

Lt. Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, GOC-in-C, Western Command: "Unless Pakistan's way of thinking changes, it will continue to take the actions it has taken... In Operation Sindoor, we have destroyed its airbases and posts, but it may again attempt something... Whatever action we take this time will be more than last time... Operation Sindoor 2.0 has to be more deadly."
