64 Indian companies would collectively invest 1.3 billion pounds ($1.75 billion) in Britain, announced during a visit of the UK's largest ever trade mission to India, with more than 100 companies and organisations travelling with the prime minister.

Officials stated that two Tejas Mk1A jets will be delivered to the IAF in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who will also visit the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) facility and meet with the staff involved in their production.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) warmly received Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, with spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal tweeting, “We extend a warm welcome to him on his arrival in New Delhi and look forward to fruitful talks on bilateral relations and regional issues."

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva has stated that India is a key growth engine of the global economy. Global growth patterns have been changing over the years, notably with China decelerating steadily while India develops into a key growth engine, Georgieva said ahead of next weeks IMF and World Bank annual meetings in Washington. The Indian economy is resilient and continues to grow sustainably, she noted, adding that external shocks would have a limited impact on the country's growth trajectory.
