• Ahmedabad-based private space startup Omspace Rocket & Exploration (OSRE) successfully launched Gujarat’s first sounding rocket from Dholera on 14 March.

• Single-stage sub-orbital research rocket
• Reached approx 3 km test altitude
• Built with lightweight carbon-fiber composite structure
• Equipped with flight avionics, telemetry tracking and recovery system
Applications~
• Upper-atmosphere & weather research
• Testing propulsion, guidance and onboard systems
• Short-duration microgravity experiments
