Police raided a farmhouse linked to an IAS officer in Indore district, detaining 18 people for alleged gambling after an alleged illegal entry. Till 1994 cases were allocated to judge by Registry of Supreme Court.
There were allegations of bench hunting so they moved towards computer generated system,but any case involving 3 or more judges bench was still constituted by CJI(master of the roster).
