🇶🇦Qatari Foreign Ministry:

India's first hydrogen-powered train successfully completed its trial run from Jind(Haryana) at 70 kmph.

To support this train, India built a dedicated green hydrogen production plant at Jind junction for ₹120 cr (~$13M).

This plant is very few in the world to attempt Rainwater to Fuel conversion. The plant requires approximately 40K liters of water/hr for electrolysis.

To make it truly sustainable, the facility is equipped with massive rainwater harvesting systems from the station's rooftops, meaning the train might eventually run on Haryana's monsoon rains.
