🇶🇦 Qatar Stops LNG Production at World’s Top Plant After Attack

Qatar Energy on Monday announced that it has halted liquefied natural gas (LNG) production after military strikes targeted its operating facilities at the country’s two major industrial hubs — Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City.

Ras Laffan Industrial City, located north of the capital Doha, is one of the world’s largest LNG production hubs. Mesaieed Industrial City, south of Doha, hosts major petrochemical and energy processing facilities.

🇮🇱🇮🇷 The IDF released updated figures from Operation Roaring Lion, stating that approximately 600 Iranian military infrastructure sites have been struck to date, around 2,500 munitions have been used, and roughly 110,000 reservists have been mobilized.

The Israeli Air Force, acting on intelligence provided by the Intelligence Directorate, has targeted more than 600 sites described as terrorist infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime.

These reportedly include over 20 targets linked to senior Iranian military leaders, more than 150 surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, and over 200 Iranian air defense systems.

Turkey’s trade minister announced on Monday that day-trip passenger crossings at three Turkish customs gates at the Iranian border ⁠have been ⁠mutually suspended but Turkey is allowing its own citizens ⁠and third-country nationals to enter from Iran.
Minister ⁠Ömer ‌Bolat ⁠said in a statement on X that Iran was permitting its ‌own citizens to enter Iran via Turkey, adding that commercial cargo transits at all three gates continued under ‌controlled conditions.
