​Nikhil Gupta is an Indian citizen currently in U.S. custody, facing charges related to an alleged conspiracy to eliminate Khalistani terrorist named Gurpatwant Pannu

he was extradited from the Czech Republic to the U.S. to face these charges.

Recently, news emerged that Nikhil Gupta pleaded guilty before a U.S. federal court.

this is not the same as becoming a "cooperating witness" (or an "approver" in Indian legal terms). He has accepted liability for himself to avoid a full trial but has not agreed to implicate others or assist the U.S. government in expanding the investigation



Recent interviews given by Gupta’s family, the primary reason for the guilty plea is the exhaustion of financial resources. The family spent heavily on legal defense during his detention in the Czech Republic and the subsequent extradition process to the U.S..

Pleading guilty is a "least risky legal path". By doing so, Gupta avoids a trial that could take years and cost significantly more, thereby ending the uncertainty of his detention and moving directly to sentencing.

Reality is that this case was built on a fictitious foundation, starting in Canada with Justin Trudeau, who allegedly did it to secure Sikh votes for his coalition partner Jagmeet Singh.
