The government has agreed to immediately cut tariffs on a limited number of cars imported from the 27-nation bloc that have an import price of more than €15,000 ($17,739).
These tariffs will be gradually reduced to 10%, easing access to the Indian market for European automakers such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW.

The list comprises five Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri Awards.
