‏قال النبي ﷺ:
‏"ما من يومٍ أكثرُ من أن يعتِقَ اللهُ فيه عبيدًا من النَّارِ من يومِ عرفةَ ، وأنه لَيدنو ، ثم يباهي بهم الملائكةَ فيقول : ما أراد هؤلاءِ ؟ اشهَدوا ملائكتي أني قد غفرتُ لهم"!

‏ يارب عفوك وغفرانك والعتق من نيرانك.

الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلّا الله، الله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد .

إنًَهُ عِيدُنَا وَإنَّا لَمسرُورون ..

تَقبَّلَ اللّٰه مِنَّا ومنكم صَالِحَ الأعمال
وعسى نراكُم ونلتقي بِكُم في عرفة العام القادم، إلهَ الحقِّ آمين.

أضحَىٰ مُبارَك🤍🤍.

imaam al-ajurri said:

"it is essential for the one whom Allāh has blessed with a good voice to recite the quran, to know that Allāh has chosen him with great goodness, so he should know the capability that Allāh has chosen him with, and he should recite for Allāh and not for the creation (of Allāh)."

Advice for memorizing:

“There's nothing more to memorizing than repetition. No hacks no tricks no shortcuts. No podcast or playlist will do it for you.

Find an empty wall or pillar. Sit. Recite over and over and over again. Test yourself. Have your sheikh test you. Repeat into the night

Never understood the "I can't memorize" people. They'll do everything but sit and repeat. They'll look this way and that way and buy this thing and the other. They'll sit 10 minutes then get antsy for their phones or a distraction. Just do it properly and stay focused

Same with the "it's the review that's hard" crew. Yes. It's difficult to remember things for us all. You are not special. You must do what we all must do. Recite more, recite looking in, recite not looking in, recite to yourself, recite to your family, recite to your sheikh

The Mushaf is right there. You do NOT need a $850 resort bundle retreat or whatever idiocy the world is marketing these days. What you need to do is have some discipline and have some commitment.

The only way is the simplest way. Why do we struggle so much to accept that?”

اللهم اجعلنا من أهل القرآن حقا

وكان مالك بن دينار يقول: يا أهل القرآن، ماذا زرع القرآن في قلوبكم؟ فإن القرآن ربيع القلوب كما أن الغيث ربيع الأرض

malik bin dinar used to say:

“o people of the quran, what has the quran produced in your hearts? for the quran is the spring of the hearts, just as rain is the spring for the earth.”

if you haven’t already today go do your muraji’ah or plan it into your day before it ends. regardless of what your schedule looks like. whats the point in memorizing new lessons when the old ones are slipping away? may Allāh make it easy for all of us & grant us steadfastness, ameen.

"لا تجعل وردك من القرآن عبئاً ترقب التخلص منه، بل اجعله روضة تتفيأ ظلالها ، وجنة تستطيب مزارها".

ibn rajab al-hanbali [رحمه الله] said:

‎"from the greatest of voluntary deeds that brings you closer to Allāh is abundantly reciting quran, listening to it, pondering upon it and understanding it."

﴿أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ﴾

the Prophet ﷺ said: "how horrible it is that one of you say: ‘I have forgotten such and such Ayah,' rather he was made to forget. So be mindful of the Qur'an, for - by the One in Whose Hand is my soul - it escapes from men's hearts faster than a camel from its fetter."

— اللهم لا تحرمنا من لذة القرآن، واجعله محفوظا في صدورنا، واجعل قلوبنا تردده قبل ألسنتنا

— for the one who needs a push to complete their memorization and be on the path of becoming a carrier of the Qur’ān
اللهم اجعلنا من أهل القرآن حقا

“O companions, hold on to the Qur’ān. Hold on to that light that seeps into the soul of its bearer; transporting him from darkness to light, and from the narrowness of life to the vastness of the universe, to paradise and bliss 🤎 !”

— ‏اللهم قلبٌ يضمُ القُرآن وَ لسانٌ يرتلُ القُرآن ‏وصحبةٌ تشدّ للقُرآن وَ رفعةٌ بالقرآن 💌

‘amr ibn qays [رحمه الله] said:

“if you hear anything from good, then act upon it even once, and you will be from its people!”
