What is LoRa ? It's a low power wireless platform to allow device to transmit data over unlicensed radio spectrum. This eliminate the neeed for 3G/4G network which is costly or WIFI which require more electricity to operate. In one of PyconMy 2016 talk last year, one speaker claimed that his company managed to cover the whole state of Perlis with just a few LoRa gateways. //@devkini
