Yesterday, I'm debugging a problem we have in our system, and as part of the debugging process, I try to create a minimal flow of the steps involved to reproduce the bug that we have.
But one thing missing, the actual system also make an external http call, so to make my minimal flow more realistic, I need to account the delay that caused by the external http requests.
Usually I just use httpbin.org for this purpose, but httpbin doesn't seem to have delayed endpoint. So searching around, I found mockbin.org.

Notes on some stuff we discussed/stumbled upon this week (Week 3, March 2017):-
* snap - Ubuntu 16.04 new way of installing packages.
* AMD Ryzen - Not recommended until the windows and linux kernels have kept up with ryzen's arch. esp. memory access/layout.
* Machine learning:-
- https://www.coursera.org/learn/machine-learning/ Very, very, *VERY* good stuff.
1. Free. (pay to get cert).
2. By the cofounder of coursera.
3. By the cofounder of Google Brains couple of years back. Yeah, that part of the team that created tensorflow, etc.
4. By the chief scientist at Baidu Research.
5. Hard, but fair, and every lesson touches just enough of the fundamentals to build on to the next lesson
- i learn from here https://www.udemy.com/datascience/learn/v4/overview as a beginner.
- I would recommend interleaving with the ciml.info book since it explains certain stuff in a more n00b friendly way.
* QnA - var x int in Go is basically 0 or null ?
- Only larger structures with pointers, etc, can be nil. (ie, map, etc). Everything else is zero'd.
- string is default == "".
- https://gobyexample.com/variables
* Easy way to run python wsgi app on AWS Lambda - https://github.com/miserlou/zappa.
* Ok... webassembly is pretty impressive: https://s3.amazonaws.com/mozilla-games/ZenGarden/EpicZenGarden.html.
* how do we check temp on macbook ? - istats
* Question - Is it event sourcing martin fowler concept similar like slowly changing dimension by kimball?
