Interesting development. I've long thinking, given so many choices we have on the server-side, why we want to settle on JavaScript ? On the client-side it's understandable since we don't have any other choice.

Our kids have reached the age – at ages 4, 4, and 7 respectively – that taking longer trips with them is now possible without everyone losing what's left of their sanity in the process. But we still have the same problem on multiple hour trips, whether it's in a car, or on a plane – how do we bring enough stuff to keep the kids entertained without carting 5 pounds of books and equipment along, per person?

... Intelligence Services can easily setup their own base stations to capture SMS traffic, or require the ISP to filter out certain SMS messages without the user ever knowing. This way they can authenticate themself as an owner of one of the phone numbers and simply pull all normal conversations history out of Telegram (with the exception of the secured chats which require the key).
