On hate speech and women's participation:
"The Commission is concerned about the impact of hate speech and threats of violence on the willingness of some communities, as well as women, to participate more readily in public affairs. In this regard, the Commission recalls that women represent only 10 percent of the newly established People's Assembly and encourages all actors to ensure a more meaningful representation of women in leadership positions."
On hate speech and online harassment:
"Meanwhile, hate speech and online harassment continues to be reported, often directed against members of minority groups based on their perceived links with the former government. The Commission is also alarmed by reported threats of violence against women, particularly against women activists and those engaged in public discourse, notably online."
On deaths in detention:
"So far, this year, the Commission has identified nine reported cases of death in detention. We were deeply troubled by the death of former humanitarian worker Muhammad Ghamira, following his detention in a police station in rural Latakia, which we are currently investigating."
On torture documentation:
"The Commission recalls that it documented torture and ill-treatment in 18 detention facilities and 12 makeshift detention facilities in its last report to this Council."
On displaced families:
"In addition, thousands of Druze and Bedouin families, as well as Alawite families from Hama, - some of whom fled after the fall of the former government and the violence in March 2025 - remain displaced with limited returns having taken place."

Twenty-five years ago, there was an attack on the so-called “Twin Towers” in New York, USA, in which people lost their lives. There are various theories regarding the attack. It could have been an Israeli plot, because—according to many insiders—all Jewish and Israeli employees were absent that day; had they been warned? No one knows for sure; there is also speculation about insider trading on the stock market:
” Various regulators and analysts noted a massive spike in the trading of so-called ‘put options’—financial contracts that allow investors to speculate on a drop in share prices. However, after extensive investigation, official bodies concluded that no concrete evidence of insider trading by different parties with inside information had been found”.
The “War on Terror” began following attacks that experts have described as a “false flag” operation on the Twin Towers. This war commenced with accusations against Osama bin Laden and his Al-Qadea group, who was said to be hiding in Afghanistan. It was there that the US—along with its primarily Western allies—launched brutal wars against the populations of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, North Korea and Russia were labelled under the Axis-of-Evil, although not attacked then; now, 25 years later, we are witnessing the escalation of the so-called “War on Terror” against tiny Lebanon, with Russia as the ultimate target by the deep-state. Despite any supposed negotiations or friendly relations between the US and Russia, the US remains the enemy; after all, it continues to supply weapons to Ukraine to kill Russians—it is as simple as that.
President Bush Jr. was informed that day in 2001, or so they say, but he likely already knew (an inside job). The fact that he was reading to a school class from a book he held upside down—probably due to pre-event nerves—serves as some proof, or at least is an indication, that he knew.
That is the dismal tally after twenty-six years of the “War on Terror”—a conflict that continues to this day. Different figures—deranged ones like Trump, clever ones like Obama, or dim-witted ones like Bush Jr.—sell this war to the public in their own ways; for most people, these conflicts feel like distant, remote events. That is, until the war expands—as we are seeing happen now—though in reality, it began twenty-six years ago.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has filed charges against Semen Kryvonos, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
Kravchenko announced the move in a video address posted on his Telegram channel, saying: “I have signed the charges against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos.” The plot around Zelensky is getting thicker and thicker!

We congratulate the free people of our nation on this blessed popular movement and the growing revolutionary wave, and we condemn in the strongest terms the actions of the security forces of the de facto authority for firing live ammunition at peaceful protesters in a desperate attempt to suppress the will of the citizens who have risen up to overthrow its legitimacy, after it has mortgaged the sovereignty of the homeland and sold its capabilities and wealth to the occupying forces.
Meeting the people’s anger with bullets will only fan the flames, and the growing scope of the current protests against exorbitant prices and the suffocating fuel crisis confirms that policies of impoverishment and intimidation have been dismantled by the unity and determination of the free people.
At this critical moment, we affirm that if this flagrant repression continues or expands, the brave sons of this nation will not stand idly by, but will fulfill their legitimate duty to protect peaceful protesters and preserve the purity of their blood.
In conclusion, we call upon all Syrians to expand the squares of anger and join the ranks of this blessed uprising until the oppressive regime is ousted, national decision-making is restored, and the stolen wealth is recovered.

Sonja van den Ende my brief comments for RT regarding the elections in Russia. The Duma elections—essentially the parliamentary elections, comparable to the House of Representatives elections in the Netherlands—took place over the past few days. As I mentioned in the video, the ruling party (United Russia) won; the Communist Party came in second; and the third, fourth, and fifth places went to small splinter parties, generally leaning towards the right or holding more liberal views.
Elections also took place in the new territories in 2023—events the West dismissed as "sham elections" at the time. Naturally, they will do exactly the same thing regarding the 2026 Duma elections.

The 2023 Russian elections took place in Russia on Sunday, 10 September 2023 (single election day), with several regions allowing voting on 8 and 9 September. There were three by-elections to the 8th State Duma, 22 gubernatorial elections (21 direct and one indirectly elected), 16 regional parliamentary elections, and many elections on the municipal and local level. They were held in the new territories LPR, DPR, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia
