Europe never learns a lesson for today

History: This is the story of the 1848 European revolutions, one of the most dramatic and significant moments in the history of the continent. Hungry workers and peasants joined forces with liberals and nationalists, and in a series of tumultuous events, toppled the French monarchy, and forced reforms across Italy, Germany, and the Austrian Empire. But the revolutionaries were divided between middle class liberals seeking limited reforms, and radicals and workers who wanted sweeping change. As they argued over political and economic reform, counter-revolutionary forces recovered their confidence, and gathered their strength for a brutal onslaught against Europe's revolutionaries. https://youtu.be/dPUVlVmwHc0?si=Ykp1svKnRzncbAZG

'We're moving closer, we're reaching Slavyansk'
The head of Zapad Group's of the Russian army told how his men are currently working in the area of Krasny Liman.
Drones perform tasks precisely, reconnaissance and adjustment are carried out without disruption. The unit moved to new positions and is now firmly engaging targets near Slavyansk. Slavyansk is a city in Donetsk Oblast , northern part of the Donbas region of eastern Donbas now Russia. Slavyansk was one of the focal points in the early stages of the war in 2014, after the coup d'état from the US and Europe, as it was one of the first cities to be seized and controlled by the people's army of the DPR, in mid-April 2014.Ukrainian forces then retook control of the city in July 2014, and since then, Slavyansk has been under Ukrainian control. Now the Russian army is reaching Slavyansk.

My latest article on Strategic Culture: Why so many Colombian mercenaries are fighting in Ukraine Ex-FARC fighters and unsuspecting young men die for money that may never be paid, and which their families in Colombia will almost certainly never receive.
https://strategic-culture.su/news/2026/07/20/why-so-many-colombian-mercenaries-are-fighting-in-ukraine/
Thousands of Colombian veterans are currently fighting in Ukraine. Why, you might ask? Is it solely because of dire economic conditions at home and meager pensions? Or does the explanation lie deeper – in Colombia’s long history of internal conflict? For decades, the country has been ravaged by civil wars, battles against drug cartels, and guerrilla groups like the FARC – hardened fighters who hid in the jungle. The 2016 peace agreement demobilized many of these combatants, leaving a large number of former FARC members without employment. Today, many appear to be fighting as paid volunteers for the Ukrainian army, while others – possibly also ex-FARC – are

🇷🇺🎙Interview of Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Vladimir Tarabrin for TASS
Depletion of resources to support the Kiev regime
• Apparently, the Netherlands has come to realise that the continued depletion of its national arms stocks is already beginning to pose risks to the defence capabilities of the Kingdom. Furthermore, the Netherlands is clearly tired of bearing the main financial burden of aid to Ukraine and wishes to urge its “lagging” NATO allies to increase their contributions.
• At the same time, one should not overestimate the significance of the position outlined by The Hague. In reality, the Netherlands has for some time now hardly supplied any weapons to Ukraine directly from its own stockpiles. The main focus has long since shifted to commercial procurement, including under NATO’s PURL initiative, as well as to the funding of relevant programmes.
• Moreover, Prime Minister R.Jetten has already publicly stated that support for Ukraine will continue, but in a different form. First and foremost, this involves expanding joint arms production with Kiev, including UAVs and missile systems.
• It is therefore too early to suggest that the Netherlands has exhausted its capacity to continue funding the “Ukrainian project”. Rather, we are witnessing a reallocation of military and financial aid, taking into account changing resource constraints and the West’s own needs, rather than an abandonment of the previous course.
The Dutch participation in the “European mission” in Ukraine
• The Netherlands has long been one of the most active supporters of the Zelensky regime. The Kingdom is among the largest European donors to Kiev and provides it with substantial military and financial aid. Moreover, this is no longer merely a matter of arms supplies and the allocation of funds, but also of establishing a long-term industrial base to meet the needs of Ukrainian forces.
• A typical example is the plan to organise the production of Baton and K4 strike drones at the VDL plant in Borne. Furthermore, in the second half of this year, the Dutch company Destinus, in collaboration with the German firm Rheinmetall, intends to commence production of Ruta 2 cruise missiles with a range of over 700 kilometres, which will subsequently be transferred to the Ukrainian armed forces. At the same time, the Dutch authorities continue to urge their allies to further step up military support for Kiev, including for carrying out deep strikes on Russian territory.
• Against this backdrop, it is difficult for an outside observer to view the Netherlands as a neutral party. Through its decisions, The Hague is consistently deepening its own involvement in the conflict and contributing to its further escalation. Proposals to send a military contingent to Ukraine appear particularly dangerous. Such a move would inevitably mark a transition to a qualitatively new level of European states’ involvement in the conflict, with consequences for the security of the entire continent that are difficult to predict.
❗️We would like to warn the Dutch leaders and other politicians in the EU against such scenarios. We urge them to assess the potential consequences of such decisions objectively and to answer a simple question: does further escalation really serve their national interests?

Look at the situation, why in God's name is Ukraine attacking Wildberries? It is not a military target, it is something like Amazon or eBay in the West. The only thing I can come up with is that it is terrorism to try and influence the population in this way, so they won't receive their packages, it has nothing to do with sanctions or economic warfare, it's targeting civilians not the military or government members. It is totally incomprehensible. But aren't Ukraine and the West totally incomprehensible? I mean, attacking civilians is horrific, but so is the total chaos in the Ukrainian leadership where one person is being swapped for another. The vast amount of money from the EU, which citizens are actually paying for. EU citizens paying for corrupt Ukraine, which in turn carries out terrorism and kills civilians—incomprehensible.. https://tass.com/emergencies/2163381

Why we should not forget about the massacres happened in Syria from 2011 were now the so-called new government is ruling the former Syria, the same guys and it's leader Al-Julani who conducted many attrocities against the Syrian population - The history of the transitional government in Syria:
In January 2013, radical Sunni militants affiliated with the Al-Nusra Front (now known as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham) raided homes in Syrian streets, capturing impoverished villagers under various pretexts and then taking them away to be executed.
Similar murders and massacres continue today.

My comments on RT: Ukrainian drone strike on tourist resort in Kirilovka Twelve people have been killed as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on tourist resorts in Russia’s Zaporozhye Region.
The strikes targeted bases in the village of Kirilovka in the Melitopol urban district.
Among the dead were four children, according to Governor Evgeny Balitsky. In addition, 19 people have been injured, the governor added, including five children.
Emergency services are working at the scene, and rescue operations are ongoing.

Today I lit a candle for all the atrocities currently taking place in the world. Terrorism kills people, ordinary citizens in Russia, the horrors in Lebanon and Syria, where war has been raging for years. The West and Israel must come to their senses, otherwise humanity will perish due to its own self-imposed atrocities.
