Summer Solstice

Today, the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky. This is not just the longest day of the year, it is a sacred moment when the spiritual Sun behind the physical Sun transmits divine intelligence into the Earth plane.

In ancient esoteric traditions, the Summer Solstice is a portal.
A time when light prevails over darkness, and higher consciousness can be received, integrated, and embodied.

The solar current represents clarity, truth, purpose, and spiritual will.
When you align with it, you activate your inner Sun – your radiant center of awareness that knows who you are and why you came here.

What this day offers you:

A rare opportunity to receive higher frequencies of light
A moment to strengthen your will and purify your intentions
A chance to realign with your soul’s purpose
A powerful time to release outdated patterns and identities

Spiritual Practices for the Solstice:

Sun Meditation

Sit facing the Sun, with eyes closed. Visualize golden light entering your third eye and solar plexus. Feel the energy of divine order anchoring within you.

Light a Golden Candle

As you light it, speak clearly what you are ready to embody. Not wishes or desires but higher qualities and intentions aligned with your soul.

Chant the Solar Seed Sound

Repeat the mantra RAM 108 times. This activates the solar fire within your navel center and helps burn through inner stagnation.

Write Your Solar Intention

Begin with the words:
“Today I choose to walk in alignment with…”
Let the sentence complete itself from your higher self.

Sacred Action

Take one step today that reflects the version of yourself who already lives in truth. Even a small act taken in alignment can carry immense spiritual power.

The Solstice is not just something to observe. It is something to enter. A living transmission of divine will and light.

Let this day be your initiation.
Not into more doing but into conscious alignment with the path you were always meant to walk.

Happy Summer Solstice. May the Sun awaken your true radiance

*When parsi Ghost asked for liberation from God realised person Hanuman Prasad ji poddar in Mumbai Chowpaty*

Brother Shri Hanuman Prasad Poddar Ji was a God-realized saint and the first editor of Kalyan Patrika, the spiritual journal of Gita Press, Gorakhpur. He lived in Mumbai. For a long time, he was also active in the revolutionary movement for India’s independence and was even imprisoned for it.

Later, after becoming acquainted with Seth Shri Jaydayal Goyenka Ji, he withdrew from politics and turned toward spiritual and intellectual service, joining the Kalyan Patrika editorial department to awaken spiritual consciousness among Hindus.

We say this with deep gratitude — if Seth Jaydayal Goyenka Ji had not founded Gita Press and if the Kalyan Patrika and its special editions on scriptures and Puranas had not been published, then perhaps the Hindu cultural values and Sanskaras we see today might not have survived. We are grateful to that great institution of Sanatan Dharma.

At that time, Brother Hanuman Prasad Poddar Ji was living in Mumbai. During the day, he worked for a businessman—perhaps as a clerk, accountant, or writer. But he had a fixed number of Mahamantro Japa (chanting of the Holy Name) to complete every day. To fulfill that, he would go to Chowpatty Beach in the evening to chant.

Today, the name “Chowpatty” may carry a different reputation, but back then, it was peaceful and pure. Brother Ji would sit on a platform near the seashore and chant God’s Name.

After some days, a man dressed in white began to sit quietly at the other end of the same platform. Brother Ji noticed him occasionally, but the man never spoke. Days passed — he would arrive shortly after Brother Ji and leave when Brother Ji left.

One day, Brother Ji felt curious and asked, “Brother, who are you?”

The man replied, “I am a spirit.”

Surprised, Brother Ji asked, “What did you say?”

The spirit said, “Yes, I am a spirit. I constantly burn in this subtle body and suffer greatly. But when I sit near you, I feel peace.”

Brother Ji asked, “Then why have you revealed this today, after so many days?”

The spirit replied, “Among spirits, most of us cannot speak — we are mute. But when you spoke to me today, some of my sins were cleansed, and I gained the ability to speak. So, I told you who I am.”

Brother Ji asked, “Why do you come to me?”

The spirit said, “I desire liberation. I suffer deeply in this state.”

Brother Ji asked, “How long must you remain in this spirit form?”

The spirit replied, “The lifespan of a spirit is at least one thousand years. If I do not attain liberation, I must endure this suffering for a thousand years.”

Brother Ji asked, “What can be done for your welfare?”

The spirit replied, “If someone performs Shraddha (ancestral offering) for me at Gaya Ji through a Brahmin according to proper Vedic ritual, I will be freed from this ghostly existence.”

Brother Ji asked, “But for performing Shraddha and offering Pind-daan, one must know your caste and lineage. What are you?”

The spirit replied, “I am a Parsi, not a Hindu.”

Brother Ji said, “Among Parsis, there is no system of Shraddha, Tarpan, or Pind-daan. After death, bodies are left for birds to eat.”

The spirit wept and said, “Brother, only in the Hindu Sanatan tradition is there a system for the liberation of departed souls. No other religion has this. That is why I say — except among Hindus, and even among Hindus only for those whose Antyeshti, Shraddha, and Tarpan are performed properly — all others become spirits after death.

All Christians who die become spirits. All Muslims who die become spirits. All Parsis who die become spirits.

In your Dharma, these sacred rites exist; hence I seek liberation through your system.”

Brother Ji said, “But how can I perform the rites for you? Your religion has no Gotra or lineage system.”

The spirit replied, “Just use Kashyap Gotra. All human beings originally belong to Kashyap Gotra.”
