25. Good actions and good conduct have been prescribed only to guide the seeker towards the path of acquiring knowledge. Therefore, giving up even Salamba Yoga in which an object such as a mantra or a form of God is meditated upon in the mind, stay steadfast in your real state sahaja swarupa, where the outside world is not perceived.

Mind becomes that whatever you think upon intensely.

Think of Cosmic love, Compassion, Forgiveness, Courage & God's Omnipresence

Devotion is a deeply reverential admiration for God. It is characterized by an element of separation between the soul and spirit. In love, there is a merging of the two into one. In devotion, your desire is not to establish oneness with God, but to keep your separate identity for the joy of standing apart and worshiping the object of your adoration. The attitude of devotion is,

"I am Thy son, and Thou art my Father" or, "I am Thy lover, and Thou art my Beloved" or, "I am Thy devotee, and Thou art my Lord."

In this state, the devotee doesn't want to say or feel, "Thou and I are One," but rather, "I adore Thee." Even though liberation has been attained, the devotee is free to retain his individuality in order to enjoy, throughout this life and all eternity, the bliss of beholding God and worshiping him with the offering of devotion.

When love and devotion are combined, that is the supreme form of expression toward God. Along with the reverence of devotion and the surrender of love, there must also be knowledge and application of the law by which he can be known. If you follow the law of scientific yoga concentration and meditation, you learn how to rise above your flesh consciousness, then you will realize God and can go back to the Infinite.

However, without love and devotion, the law alone is very exacting. But when with the faithful practice of the guru-given yoga techniques of God-realization, you can say with the fervour of your heart and soul, "God, You are my divine friend my divine mother, my divine father" his heart melts. These things that I am telling you are not from any text. These are truths that I receive in my communion with God.

"A devotee whose heart is pure, not dependent on or insistent for a particular result or worldly gain, free from selfishness in all undertakings, free from worry (being faithful to the divine will), yet acts skillfully to the best of his/her ability... such a pure devotee is very dear to the Lord."

अनपेक्षः शुचिर्दक्ष उदासीनो गतव्यथः
सर्वारम्भपरित्यागी यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः।
~ Bhagvad gita 12.16

🌸 The nature of true love is such that the beloved dwells in the core of one's heart & cannot be forgotten even for a moment. The Lord's pure devotees are always in the core of His heart, & He is always in theirs. They are most dear to Him, and He is most dear to them. The devotee knows nothing but the Lord, who always protects the soul surrendered to Him. There is no question of separation, neither in this world nor in the next, for the bond of 'Bhakti' is far beyond the mortal cares of this world of birth & death 🌸

🔮 Understanding Life Through the 5 Elements || THE PANCHAMAHABOOTAS IN AYURVEDA.

[Video] The Elements of Life: Understand them, and you understand life itself. They rule nature, earth, the cosmos, and our bodies: space, air, fire, water, earth. In Sanskrit: Akasha, Vayu, Tejas, Aap, Prithvi. ALL life exists as macrocosm to microcosm. As above, so below.

This video explains the concept of the Panchamahabootas, or 5 elements from the Ayurvedic perspective. They are expounded upon within the Vedas, but specifically Sankya philosophy (all about the creation of the universe and how it came to be). I would definitely recommend researching deeper into these philosophies.
