Been working on an large scope project, and one thing I wonder about is that the first 80% of the system was done in 20% of the time, while the last 20% took 80% of the time to finish up and wrap up, I really don't know why is that.

God really saved us today. 🤯🙏

It was raining really hard, and I was just working using my PC while it was charging. Then lightning struck our house. It was so strong that the flash came inside the house, and the shock came through my charger.
It hit me and my mom too. For a few moments, I couldn't even move my legs. I was really scared, but thank God I was okay after a little while.

The crazy part is that only my charger got burned. My PC is somehow still fine. I still can't believe what happened. It could have been so much worse. Today really reminded me how precious life is. I'm just thankful that we're safe🙏

This was my very first programming tutorial.

Back in 9th grade, I found a 4 hour HTML & CSS tutorial by The New Boston (Bucky Roberts) on YouTube. During the tutorial, he said, "You'll need Notepad++ as your text editor."

So I went to an internet café to download it... and some guy there tried to charge me 20 birr for it.(Pretty sure he was a CS student too) I remember running like hell to the neighborhood shop, borrowing 20 birr while telling them, "My mom said she'd pay you back." 😭

Looking back, it's crazy.

A random guy decided to upload programming tutorials 16 years ago, and because of that, some random kid from Ethiopia found his way into software engineering.

Not every hero wears a cape/maskot. ❤️

I'm on the challenge, build a full multi-tenant production ready SaaS product within 24 hrs, including all documentation, testing, infrastructure, and deployment.

I started this at 3 PM, it's been 3 hrs and I'm configuring the monorepo and writing the plan and docs. Let's see how it goes...
