So story time
Back when I was a freshman, before I knew how to code, I was trying to build this tutorial platform(just an idea) for high school and campus students. Kinda like a mini startup. I wanted to add a bot too, and at the time that felt like straight up magic to me. Like impossible-level hard.
So I hired someone to build it, but he was busy and the work honestly wasnโt that good. At some point I was just like nah, forget it, Iโm gonna build this myself. And once I actually learned how to do itโฆ bro it was way easier than I thought.
Thatโs really the whole point. Even me, someone whoโs know some basic computer stuff at the time, used to look at tech products like they were some crazy impossible thing. A lot of business owners see it the same way. To them, this stuff feels super complex and mysterious.
So donโt be scared to reach out, offer your service, and say โyo, I can build this for you.โ And yes, charge good money too, because a lot of people are paying for something they genuinely donโt understand how to make themselves.

I opened an issue on the Paperclip GitHub.
I was trying to connect Paperclip to Telegram from a Docker container on a VPS. The flow was straight forward install the Telegram plugin, authenticate the CLI, and continue the setup.
The problem showed up during the auth step inside a headless container (no browser). Paperclip tried to open the auth URL with
Because of that, it would still fail even if I manually opened the URL, approved it in the browser, and came back to the terminal, the process was already dead.
My temporary workaround was pretty simple, I downloaded the module directly inside the running container first, so I could at least move forward without depending on the failing xdg-open auth flow right away.

Finally done ๐ญ Iโve been on the GHL + Telegram + Paperclip integration for like 5 hours and itโs working now.
Main issue was honestly Paperclip, itโs still pretty new, a lot of stuff is still under development, and some parts are unfinished, so I had to do a bunch of workarounds to make everything connect properly.
And the funniest part is the client just asks ChatGPT if something is possible, and if ChatGPT says yes(which it always does), then Iโm the one who has to actually build it ๐ญ๐ญ
ChatGPT really is my enemy at this point.

What was the goal of the worflow ? for what were u using GHL for ?
He has a law firm and wants me to build a CRM automation flow.
The idea is to connect forms, LinkedIn, GHL, Paperclip, and AI agents. Whenever someone comments on or interacts with a LinkedIn post, submits a form through GHL, or fills out a form on his website, GHL should capture and store the lead.
Then Paperclip will handle the conversation side, like sending emails, explaining the company, and following up with the lead.
When someone submits a request to the law firm, AI agents will analyze it, decide the next steps, contact the owner when needed, and store/update the lead back in GHL.

The biggest change I made regarding learning is starting with questions preferably (3โ10 questions) when learning about a topic.
For example: what is it, why is it important, and how does it work are the most common questions I ask for almost every concept I learn, with more depending on the context.
This has absolutely been a game changer for me because before this, I would just dive into a subject like jumping into a skydive unprepared and sometimes with no parachute (analogy is still work in progress). Anyway, now I have structure, and it feels far less overwhelming.
Also, knowing the questions are limited for the session makes me realize it is going to end, which is nice.
I found this especially helpful in a space where learning is not optimized for an exam or structured by an institution.

Iโve changed my circle over the past few months. Iโve met new friends, like-minded people, and built stronger relationships with people who have the same hunger and drive as me.
Most of the time, I enjoy spending time alone, but when Iโm around people, I make sure Iโm with the right ones. Their energy fuels me.
