Met Sanyi and we had a really great conversation. Sharp mind, for real. A kid with a potential of building Google from scratch. Appreciate you bruvπ And yeahβ¦ I might be older but still shorter than you ππ€£ αα αα αα α³α΅ααα , Iβll be the one stressing instead π
Had a solid discussion with Yeabsira and Nafyad about internships. We didnβt fully agree at first, but your perspectives were real and not sugarcoated. I respect that a lot. And I agree with your pov π
Also got the chance to talk with Major John from the game dev community. That was a big moment for me. The way he broke down game development... all the different roles and paths... completely changed how I see it. Definitely not what I expected, in a good way. Looking forward to meeting again, maybe at the next game jamπ.
Met a lot of new people (and somehow even found a classmate Iβve never noticed before π).
Eyoba youβre genuinely one of the best person Iβve met. Weβre not done talking and we will meet again soon π α αααα α

People really think working 8 or 10 hours a day is hard, and yeah, reading, coding, and doing stuff for that long does sound exhausting. But when you think about it, after graduation most people work at least 8 hours a day, and a lot of them still look for extra part-time jobs too.
So while weβre at gbi, we should realize how precious this time is. Itβs time weβll never get back, so itβs better to use it to work on ourselves.

Yooo, I forgot to pause the runs on Paperclip and it burned through like 17M tokens within 4 daysπ
The good thing is I kinda saw it coming, so I didnβt use my clientβs Claude API key. I connected it to my OpenAI Codex subscription instead and not it is rate limiting me π
If I had used my clientβs API key, it wouldβve cost him like $100.
