Little bro tip guys, If you need to take a break, take it. Don’t push yourself to the extreme, there’s a point where your mind just stops working properly. Rest, then come back.

Yesterday I was working on some challenging tasks the language was go. I finished 2 of them in about 9 hours… but then I got stuck on the last one and kept pushing for like 6 hours until midnight even then I didn't solve it.

I slept, woke up today, and understood it right away, solved it in like 30 min. I realized I wasn’t being productive… I was just obsessed with finishing.

I even have this rule, I won't eat lunch until I finish atleast two tasks😅, yesterday I ate at like 11 LT.

So the moral of the story taking a break someimes is the fastest way to get things done, Hope someone finds this useful 😊

The past few weeks have been a total mess. I’ve been all over the place. I’ve been trying to deliver high-quality tasks at work, building the AfriQueue project, and also working on a client project ELDCP (Ethiopian Data Collection Platform) for AI training. And now classes are starting 😭 I’m exhausted.

Once I wrap up this Upwork thing, I’m going to adjust my schedule and reduce my workload. I can barely even learn new things these days 😭

They’re using some kind of hack, but the funny part is the vote only counts for 30% 😂. The rest is evaluated based on the project.

And my project is complete and solves a real-world problem, it’s not just a prototype. I built most of it the parts, real-time chat, AI integration, a real-time map, even OAuth and phone number based authentication, and admin/staff dashboards alongside the normal client page. We’ll see how it turns out fam, wish me luck 😊

Starting a new learning routine

The past 3 weeks I haven’t been learning much, I had a couple projects going on and work got heavy.

But now things are finally lining up. I’m getting tasks done way faster: before it could take me like 8–12 hours, now with better tools + understanding the work environment, I can finish my daily tasks in about 3–5 hours.

So for the next month, I’m going back to learning daily, waking up at 5 AM and studying until 8 AM. Let’s see how far I can push it.

Day 1 Bun!

Today I started learning Bun properly. I’ve used it before in a project, but now I’m going through the docs in detail. I learned the runtime basics, how it works, what engine it uses, and I also found a cool flag, --smol, which can reduce memory usage at a cost to perf.
