I remember about two years ago, someone, I can’t recall his name, who was a full-stack developer spoke on the @yonas_moh podcast. He said people don’t really need to be full-stack, knowing just backend or frontend is often enough you can work on that and he also said it will take a lot of time to learn both. He also talked about how difficult his journey was. At that time, I was just thinking about starting to code and hadn’t written a single line yet. Now, in less than two years, niche jobs are hard to find and learning has become much easier because of AI. AI has changed a lot😮.

I wonder what will change in the next two years🤔.

One hard truth I realized this week is that coding with AI is nothing like what people make it out to be. It’s funny how people compare it to when calculators first came out and how mathematicians were afraid of them and use that same analogy for AI, but honestly, AI is a whole different game. We’re kind of losing the AI game, and the best thing we can do is use AI to help people who still don’t know how to do things themselves. It seems like we’ll need to shift more towards business and management roles.
