The Game of Life (an example of a cellular automaton) is an infinite two-dimensional game which is played in rounds. Each cell can be either alive or dead on each round. There are simple rules which decide whether a cell dies or lives and it leads to generating different patterns on the grid.

This leads to an undecideable algorithm. I.e. the result of inputs are unknown without running the simulation till the end. There is a Youtube video about making a video game about the Game of Life:

With Germany’s lockdown for unvaccinated people, one can only imagine the trajectory future will bring.

Of course, I support vaccination, hygiene measures and lockdowns to control the spread of Corona virus, yet the implementation and handling of such measures always raise doubts and questions.

What happens to our data?
What if wrong people get access to them?
What about the privacy and what is our responsibility for next generations?


History provides many examples of such ill-conceived measures typically in fascist regimes. For example a corrupt government can silence activists, or introduce further controls (such as race or pregnancy) as soon as such measures are established.
