📢 UPDATE

Hello everyone! A few days ago, we told you that @TeamMEX_XDA had managed to boot Android 16 on RODIN in just 3 days after starting the new Device Tree.
Today, just 5 days after that first boot, we are happy to inform you that we already have a stable and fully functional base. 🚀

Working without the physical phone is a headache, but thanks to the joint effort between our developers and testers, we pulled this off in an incredible amount of time.

🔹 DEVICE TREE IMPROVEMENTS:

• Full compatibility: This new DT was designed and optimized on pure AOSP to ensure a clean and smooth experience. Note! This doesn't mean it only works for AOSP; this guarantees that any ROM based on LineageOS or AOSP will work without any issues.

• Sensors at 100%: After many tests, we managed to fix the bugs in the device's sensors.

• FOD (Fingerprint on Display) Fix: We focused deeply on the "Jiiov" fingerprint sensors. In all the tests we ran, the fingerprint sensor never stopped working at any time, even when formatting the device without previously clearing the lock screen information.

🎯 NEXT GOALS:

1️⃣ HyperOS Camera: Adapt the official Xiaomi camera so as not to lose photographic quality.

2️⃣ OGKI Kernel:
Create a custom kernel based on the official Google image.

3️⃣ OSS Kernel:
If everything goes well and we notice the community's support, development of a fully open-source (OSS) kernel will begin.

we want to make it public:

We want to be super clear with you about the next steps. This project was born with an OPEN SOURCE heart, and our ultimate goal is for all this code to be freely available to the community. However, for @TeamMEX_XDA to continue polishing the fine details optimally, they need the physical device; otherwise, development will be severely slowed down.
