Finally 0.9.28 stable version is ready with a massive channels update onboard:
— Now the channel creator can edit any post while each channel admin can edit their own posts. Also any member of a supergroup can edit their messages to this supergroup.
— The channel creator can switch on the signatures in the channel edit box and after that all posts will be followed by the authors name.
— Each channel admin can send «silent» posts which won't produce any notifications for the subscribers.
— Any post in a public channel now has a direct URL. You can get it from the context menu of the post. For example, this post has such link: https://telegram.me/desktop/26

The 0.9.50 version brings you drafts synced across all your Telegram devices, a beautiful new profile pages design and a floating date mark, so you won't get lost even in a huge group chat histories.

Telegram Desktop reaches version 1.0 – and it's BEAUTIFUL
First launched in 2013, Telegram Desktop graduates to version 1.0 today. We've added a fabulous new design and support for custom themes.
We added almost all missing settings to Telegram Desktop in today 1.0.26 stable release! Now you can go to Settings and:
— Change your phone number.
— Edit who can see your last seen time and who can add you to groups.
— Edit your list of blocked users.
— Edit account self-destruction settings.
+ you get a nice message search feature: click on the date in any chat and jump quickly to messages from a specific day.

In the latest 1.1.11 alpha version of Telegram Desktop you can write bold text (just surround it with **) and italic text (just surround it with __).
