If any member of a community such as Kinnegad wants to come forward our podcast will have you. We will give you the plaform to speak openly about your experiences with military aged foreign men living in luxury in your town. What has happened in Kinnegad is a lesson to the rest of the towns in Ireland. If your sons or daughters get attacked or abused by people who have not been vetted, you will be called a racist by RTE and Civil Society in order to silence you. We will give you the platform to speak the truth but we will NOT tolerate anonymous, ignorant or unsubstantiated/second hand claims. You have no excuse anymore to stay in your comfy silence. Great piece from Gript.ie, interview with one of Kinnegads new arrivals on how his circumstances brought him to Ireland.

He came here because he is an atheist and his life is in danger in whatever Islamic country he comes from.

He chose Ireland because he has been told that Ireland is a soft touch for housing, other countries like Spain and Germany don't give houses out like tic-tacs to every visitor from all over the world.

And if you've seen my earlier post Ireland has run out of accommodation, if you come here seeking asylum you'll have to sleep at the airport.
