Great piece from Gript.ie, interview with one of Kinnegads new arrivals on how his circumstances brought him to Ireland.

He came here because he is an atheist and his life is in danger in whatever Islamic country he comes from.

He chose Ireland because he has been told that Ireland is a soft touch for housing, other countries like Spain and Germany don't give houses out like tic-tacs to every visitor from all over the world.

And if you've seen my earlier post Ireland has run out of accommodation, if you come here seeking asylum you'll have to sleep at the airport.
