Terra Update
- The client expired again.
- We need to raise another governance proposal.
- What Happened:
- Due to issues with calls to the terra node intermittently failing the Hermes client update that keeps the client active failed multiple times within the trust period.
- Since the update call is 2/3's the trust period it failed to update the client within the Trust period causing it to expire.
- Tentative plan going forward:
- Manually create a new client.
- Raise a governance proposal to update the client one more time.
- Continue to have relayer provider run their node and relayer to ensure the client stays up. They are running on bare metal so it should help with the issue we believe is related to the K8S networking stack.
- Have multiple partners relay on this client so we have more people using Hermes with the client so more chances to keep it updated and less chances of failure.
- Once the governance proposal goes through we test relaying and ensure it will work.
- Wait 1 week to see if it starts having issues, and continue to do simple import and exports to ensure it stays stable.
- After 1 week if its stable re-enable on the UI.
