TLDR on upcoming adjustments with Sif’s Ascension & PMTP:
*When will the deployment happen?*
- It is estimated to go live soon! Check here for a countdown: https://www.mintscan.io/sifchain/blocks/6485500
- There will be a few hours between when the chain gets upgraded, and when the front-end is completely updated. During this time period, you will see a maintenance page when visiting the DEX. When you see this page, it means we are in the final stages of these features being fully live!
Liquidity Bonding:
- All liquidity and earned rewards will be bonded. This means that when executing a liquidity withdrawal, that liquidity will be subject to a 7 day unbonding period. Rewards still accumulate during this time.
Liquidity Unbonding:
- To unbond liquidity, users only need to indicate the percentage of their pool share that they want to unbond. This percentage will then be translated into equal parts of each token. For example, if you remove 10% of your pool share in the ATOM:ROWAN pool, this means that you will unbond 10% of your liquidity in equal amounts of ROWAN and ATOM.
Liquidity Withdrawal:
- After the 7-day unbonding period, users will have a 3-day window to fully withdraw their liquidity.
- If the unbonded liquidity is not fully removed within that 3-day window, the liquidity is automatically rebonded to the pool. All liquidity will continue to earn rewards up until the point it is fully withdrawn to the user’s wallet.

Rewards:
- There will no longer be a rewards tab. Rewards from Sif’s Ascension (new rewards module) are handled differently than Sif’s Expansion (old rewards module). Rewards are earned in ROWAN and they are automatically re-pooled for all users every block.
- We have a community member actively trying to develop a way for users to be able to easily see the exact amount of rewards they have earned, in the meantime, for v1 of this program, users will be able to see:
- a) Their earned APR for being in that pool
- b) Total cumulative rewards earned for that pool up to that point in time that have been distributed to all LPers of that pool.
How to best prepare for PMTP:
- All you need to do to reap the benefits of PMTP is hold ROWAN. This innovative program will always be at work behind the scenes.
How to best prepare for Sif’s Ascension:
- See the list of above changes that coming to the DEX.
- Other than that, there is nothing additional users need to do to prepare for this program. If you are a liquidity provider, you will immediately start earning rewards every block when this program kicks off!

pSTAKE is Implementing Ethereum 2.0 ($ETH) Liquid Staking.
The Ethereum 2.0 merge is slated for Q3 2022. As this continues to develop, pSTAKE is moving towards launching $stkETH to enhance offerings within our liquid staking ecosystem.
Once implemented, pSTAKE will be able to issue $stkETH to $ETH stakers as a liquid-staked asset, which can be used to participate in other DeFi activities to earn additional rewards.
The public pSTAKE $stkETH testnet will soon go live and a step-by-step user guide to test it out will also be shared in the coming days.

How To Claim PLD and RPC
To claim your PLD and RPC:
1. At the Token Generation Event (TGE), on April 19, 2022, go to claimer.plutonians.tech
2. On the webpage, click the Claim Tokens button.
3. Click the Connect Wallet button.
4. Click the Claim/Unlock button.
Note. As we mentioned earlier, each of the PLD and RPC locked tokens have its individual vesting schedule. This means that the number of tokens available for claim is displayed next to the [Claim/Unlock] button.

Today marks a historic day for Sifchain & SifDAO: PMTP and Sif’s Ascension are both **now live**!
You may notice that the URL is slightly different than before. The reason for this is that Sifchain actually has multiple FE providers (and this is one of them). We recommend to ALWAYS use sifchain.network when entering the DEX at this point in time. The URL this will lead to is currently https://sifchain-dex.redstarling.com/.
What This Means for You
To benefit from these features, you don’t need to do anything differently! The benefits will be bestowed upon all ROWAN holders, poolers, and stakers without any extra effort.
PMTP
PMTP is a simple but revolutionary mechanism invented by Sifcore. Its aim is to drastically reduce inflation and drive value to ROWAN, making it one of the most attractive tokens to buy, hold, pool on Sifchain, and stake.
PMTP enables SifDAO to adjust ROWAN’s purchasing power through PMTP policy proposals. After a policy proposal passes and the parameters are input, the policy will begin at the specified date. It will change ROWAN’s purchasing power in the swap algorithm.
Sif’s Ascension
Sif’s Ascension is the yin to PMTP’s yang. It is complementary to PMTP. It is a flexible, and simple way to reward liquidity providers that auto-compounds rewards for users every six seconds.
All Sif’s Ascension rewards are paid in ROWAN, and rewards will be auto-injected into the pools every block. “Bonus Pools” will receive more rewards and have higher APRs than other pools. If ROWAN’s price rises, inflation will be reduced while APRs remain high.
The bonded liquidity of Sif’s Ascension means that PMTP policies will be more effective and available liquidity will be more stable and predictable for traders and the council that makes PMTP policy decisions.
