In a fresh notice to Meta, the government has sought a detailed clarification on WhatsApp's "usernames" feature within three days. The rollout has been put on hold until official consultation is completed, sources confirmed.

ZachXBT reports that Chinese launderers moving funds from the $387.5 million Bitget hack, tied to alleged DPRK attackers, are openly soliciting business in public Discord and Telegram channels.
